A week ago, I wanted to feel free! I wanted to be different! I needed a change. Most importantly, I had to cut off my straggly and relaxed ends.  They were damaged and there was no need for me to hold on to them just to have a little “hang time.”

So, what did I do? I cut my hair!!! That’s right, I chopped my shit.   I still can’t believe I did it.  It was a big step for me.

I’m that girl who wished for long hair down my back and over my shoulder so I could flip that shit like I am the baddest chick around.  But, my hair grows entirely to slow for all that. It would probably take all my life just to reach 12inches.  As a result, I had my girl, my college friend, and one of the best hair stylists in Baltimore to cut my hair, J. Kidd at House of Bombshell.

And chile, she made me OVER!! She transformed me into a LADY!! I fell in love with the cut just as she said I would.  It was clean, slick, grown, and polished. You couldn’t tell me N O T H I NG! I was the “bomb.”

Well, it’s been a week since I’ve gotten the cut and it has fallen completely apart.   My hair is greasy from its natural oil. It’s stiff as hell without an inch of life.  My hair is all over my head.  It’s looking bad.  I’m looking a mess.

What am I suppose to do? I don’t know what to do with short hair!!! I can’t even get my favorite hairstyle, which is a messy bun.  I need help!! I don’t know how to manage this mini mess! This is going to drive me crazy.

So far,…

1. I attempted to put some soft waves in my hair using my wand..EPIC FAILED

2. I combed out the soft waves and attempted to do a “Kailahse” (my niece) and Miley Cyrus bob look …No luck.

3. I combed it out and tried a messy look. I looked DUMB.

In the meantime,  I guess I will need to wear a hat or pick up the habit of doing my hair weekly just so I can look like something.

As a matter of fact, I’m going to get some tracks.  Yes, that’s what I’m going to do.  A sew in with Malaysian weave sounds better.  🙂
