Easter is almost here with my birthday and Mother’s Day right around the corner. I have THE cutest gift for that special girlie girl in your life.
If you think it’s adorable, you’ll love how easy it is to prepare. Check it out!
What you’ll need:
•white mugs (I grabbed mine from TJ MAX for $1.99.)
•black and pink sharpies
•oven gloves
What you’ll need to do:
•sketch out your design on scratch paper before transferring your idea to the mug. (You can even write your favorite quote/phrase OR a name)
•If you make a mistake while illustrating your design on your mug, erase it using alcohol or nail remover.
•Once you’ve completed your design, place it in the oven for 30 minutes.
•Allow it to cool off before lightly washing it.
Gifting tips:
•Add some decorative tissue paper inside with your favorite tea bag or coffee pouch.
•Snip the stem of a daisy and place it inside of your mug. Now it’s the cutest flower vase.
•Place some wrapped candy inside.
•Writing utensils (pens, markers, pencils, etc.)
Special Occassions:
This is the easiest and cheapest gift ever to add to an Easter basket or for birthdays, appreciation awards, a teacher, Mother’s Day, and more.
Kid Friendly Project:
With proper supervision, this can be a great project for a child. They can make this keepsake for themselves or a loved one (parents, grandparents, teacher, etc.).
That’s it guys! It’s that simple.
Good luck and hashtag your design using #thetwentiesgal.
I can’t wait to see it! ☺️
