My trip to Dubai and Abu Dhabi was definitely an adventure that I would like to describe as love and war. From the endless beauty in the Miracle Garden to the flaming heat wave that reached 104 degrees Fahrenheit was a constant undefeated love and war battle for me. But what can you do? You simply take the good with the bad and enjoy the experience by exploring new areas, reflecting, writing, laughing, crying, shopping, eating, and more.
This time, I’ve decided to capture my journey through a combination of writing, photography, and videography. Instead of me exposing my in-depth journal entries from my travel journal, I would like for you to take a visual journey through the lens of my Samsung NX300.
Enjoy the ride. (pictures and a video inside) 🙂
Destination: Miracle Garden| Dubai
Houses, peacocks, geometrical shapes, and even Tinkerbell were dressed in beautiful floral. This is a gal’s favorite dreamland even on the hottest day!!
Destination: Platinum Heritage | Dubai
The best desert tour that provides you with an intimate and authentic Arabian experience. Celebrities from Steve Harvey and Selena Gomez have used this company during their adventure. The vintage Landrovers are hot. The food is amazing. The customer service is remarkable. I would highly recommend this company for any tourist looking for an authentic experience, unless you rather be crowded with a larger group of tourists and bounce around in a jeep sand dunning.
Destination: Jumeirah Beach | Dubai
Rent a yacht and party! That seems to be the trend for locals and visitors.
Destination: Gold & Spice Souk | Dubai
Looking for local souvenirs, gold, spices, or garments? I would highly recommend this location. It was my favorite because I was able to interact with the locals, support their businesses, and find the best garments, spices, and furniture apparel for my home and for my love ones. It’s definitely a place that’s filled with character while representing the Arabian culture. Also, it’s best to plan your visit after 4PM.
Destination: Ferrari World Yas Island | Abu Dhabi
Go around 5pm to avoid the crowd. Beware of Formula Rossa. It jets off onto a roller coaster that’ll whip the slob out of your mouth, along with your vocals. (I thought the slob on my face was mine, but apparently it was the mister. Talk about disgusting!!!!! lol)
Destination: Emirates Palace | Abu Dhabi
An elegant hotel with gold, diamonds, and pearls inside. Be sure to stop for a cup of cappuccino with sprinkles of gold.
Destination: Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque | Abu Dhabi
Words cannot describe the beauty of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. Women and men must be dressed appropriately before entering the mosque. If you love history, attend the free tours to learn more about the mosque rich background.
Due to unexpected and expected circumstances, I wasn’t able to do a few things on my itinerary (silent cry). Maybe a future traveler can add these attractions to their agenda and share their experiences with me later.
Destination: Global Village | Dubai
Destination: Old Dubai | Dubai
Destination: The Dead Sea | Israel
Destination: Al Ain Zoo | Al Ain City
