Home Decorating Ideas with Jonathan Adler

Do you window shop? I know it can be frown upon to do so, but guess what? We all are guilty of it, even when we are too embarrassed to admit it.

Honey, I love a great window shopping adventure. That’s where I’m inspired to create art. In particular, in my home. Window shopping allows me to admire ridiculously overpriced pieces and to imagine how perfect it would be in my utopia world without having to spend a dime.

And that’s exactly what I did when I had some much-needed me time in Jonathan Adler’s trendy, sparkly, and everything fabulous home good store. His unique pieces are fun and young, just what any twenties gal need to give their home a bit of personality. Although his prices were reasonable for his high-end product, they were obviously unaffordable for my pockets.

If it wasn’t for the hard stiff stares from the Mr., I would’ve stayed in there for hours.  I’ll be back soon, that’s for sure.  This time with a budget for shopping in Jonathan Adler’s home good store.

Here are a few of my favorite pieces that inspired me as I begin to redecorate my home.

I love to travel. These will be the perfect gift and/or DIY project to remind me of all the great places I’ve visited.

Gold is my accent color all throughout my house. This lamp would be a perfect addition.

Elephants are my favorite. So simple keepsake boxes like this are ideal without overwhelming me or my guest.

There’s so much about this space that I loved–the black and white strips…double rug, fur rug, upholstered couch, and game set.

I have sequins pillows on my chairs but these are magical!!! I loved the colors.

This reminded me that I needed more sequins  and embellished pillows. How cute are these fish? So cute.

This reminded me to add a game set in my living space for entertaining my guest.  But it must be as cute as this.

I think I’ll do a soft gray, a pop of color and mixed print in my bedroom.

All this time, I’ve been using bookshelves to house my collection of books.  Look at this…a cuter way. I have to do this, too.

  1. Hey My Soror and My Poodie!! I just sat and read all of your blogs. I’m just finished laughing at your visit to Aunt Polly’s garden and your Momma’s response! I called her up and we laughed for 5 minutes!

    I love the decorating ideas with Jonathan Adler! I have changed my colors in the my place and am enjoying the subtle colors of gray and white in my bedroom. I’ll share pics of my place with you privately so you can see.

      LOL @ my momma. I’m sure you could imagine exactly how she said that to me while at Aunt Polly’s house. That girl is a trip. She has No filter.

      I can’t wait to see your pics of your home. You’ve always had the most attractive decorated, yet cozy, home I’ve ever visited. So I’m looking forward to them.
